Day trip to Khao Yai 2026 | Vegetable Farms, Flower Gardens, Alpacas & Winter Market

3 hours from Bangkok lies Khao Yai, a countryside escape known for its farms, vineyards, cool mountain air, and wide open landscapes. 🌿 I honestly picked the spots in this video pretty randomly, but there are so many different things to do here. On the drive alone I passed mango farms, orange farms, flower fields, and little roadside cafés. My friend even went horseback riding while visiting. It’s one of those destinations where you can just explore and still stumble upon something interesting. What surprised me the most is how different the vibe feels compared to other mountainous areas in Thailand. For some reason, Khao Yai has this slightly European countryside aesthetic. Think vineyards, Tuscan-style villas, and pastel cafés that look like they belong in Italy or France. If you’re looking for somewhere close to Bangkok that feels completely different from the city — slower, greener, and a little unexpected — Khao Yai is definitely worth exploring.
