出雲では旧暦の10月を神在月と呼びます。全国から八百万の神(やおよろずのかみ)が、出雲大社に集まり、『神議(かみはかり・神様の会議)』をするという故事からそう呼ばれるようになったと言われています。 議長は出雲大社の主祭神である大国主大神(オオクニヌシノオオカミ)、議題は人々の幸せと、人同士の良縁を結ぶこと。 遥か昔の日本神話の神々と現代の人々とをつなぐ出雲大社の神事と神在月の出雲の世界をお届けします。 In Izumo, October in the lunar calendar is called KAMIARITSUKI meaning the month of gods exists.
