"TERRITORIAL SPIRITS" Part 1 "SATAN ROAMS THROUGHOUT THE EARTH" PASTOR ROGER LUCERO

Today we begin with the first part of our Bible series entitled, "TERRITORIAL SPIRITS: WHAT THEY ARE AND HOW TO CONQUER THEM." This first segment of our series has to do with SATAN ROAMING THROUGHOUT THE EARTH PATROLLING OVER DOMAINS AND TERRITORIES, based on Job Chapters 1 & 2 as well as other related Scriptures. HE DOES THIS BY WAY OF USING HIS DEMON SPIRITS, ALSO KNOWN AS FALLEN ANGELS. When the devil along with his fallen angels came to present themselves before the LORD, Satan told the Lord that he had been "Roaming through the earth and going back and forth in it." The term "ROAMING" (Heb. shuwt): To prowl (1 Peter 5:8); To patrol; To keep watch over a domain or territory. With all the other names that Satan goes by, HE IS ALSO A TERRITORIAL ADVERSARY. HIS SELF-IMPOSED DUTY AND FUNCTION IS TO PATROL DOMAINS AND TERRITORIES FOR MANY REASONS: Today, we'll cover several of them. 1. TO SEARCH AND DESTROY ALL THAT GOD HAS CREATED. This mainly concerns Satan's goal to steal, kill, and destroy every human being (every living soul) that he can because we've all been created by God in His image (Genesis 1:26-27). 2. TO SEARCH AND ELIMINATE ANY AND ALL THREATS TO HIS AGENDA. 3. TO PREVENT OR STOP THOSE THREATS, OR POTENTIAL THREATS, TO HIS AGENDA BECAUSE SATAN IS NOT OMNIPRESENT (i.e. he cannot be in all places at the same time), HE SENDS HIS DEMON SPIRITS (his fallen angels) TO ACCOMPLISH HIS AGENDA, WHICH INCLUDES PATROLLING THE EARTH TO KEEP WATCH OVER DOMAINS OR TERRITORIES. AS CHRISTIANS, WE'RE TOLD TO BE SELF-CONTROLLED, WATCHFUL, AND ALERT BECAUSE SATAN IS ON PATROL OVER TERRITORIES, LOOKING FOR THOSE HE CAN DEVOUR. The way to be self-controlled, watchful, and alert, is with a total sold-out faith and a firm resistance against the devil's schemes (1 Peter 5:8-11).
