La historia de terror que vivió Guatemala tras la quema de la Embajada de España en 1980
In February like this one, Guatemala was experiencing gruesome news, like something out of a horror story. The only survivor from the Spanish Embassy was kidnapped from the Herrera Llerandi Hospital by a group of 20 armed men. Meanwhile, other students from the University of San Carlos were also murdered by state forces while participating in the burial of the Embassy victims. Those days in 1980 explain much of who we are. A traumatized society that has not healed and lives in a permanent state of "violence" and "aggression."
