What should I do if I get a speck of dust while applying it? NOTE: This can only be done with good (expensive) tempered glass, as they can be peeled off without breaking if you're careful and have a better adhesive that allows for washing. If it's dusty and the tempered glass is a good one, here's how I do it: first, have your hands really clean, so use dish soap and scrub thoroughly. Then, I apply a generous amount of dish soap to the side that has the tempered glass adhesive. I spread it carefully, rubbing just enough to remove any dust specks and leave them in the soap. I place it under plenty of cold, running water. I rinse it without touching it until all the soap is gone. It will stay damp. At that point, I shake it a little, always without touching the adhesive, to remove excess water. I apply it carefully, drying any water that might leak out around the edges so it doesn't damage the device. After a few days, all the moisture between the tempered glass and the screen will evaporate, leaving it stuck. You can apply some pressure from the center to the edges once applied to remove some more excess moisture and help it dry faster.
