In this video, I take on an insane 9KG bowl of Hakka Yong Tau Foo challenge at Hup Chong Hakka Yong Dou Foo, a well-known spot famous for their authentic Hakka-style yong tau foo that always has a long queue! Unlike the usual YTF you find at hawker centers, Hakka yong tau foo is stuffed generously with minced meat instead of fish paste, which gives it a more robust flavour. For this challenge, I ordered the dry version with Mifen Mian (rice and egg noodles mixed) which perfectly soaked up both the sweet and spicy sauces. I had a huge variety of yong tau foo items, some of which included their beancurd, bitter gourd, and chilli which were stuffed with their signature minced meat filling.
