She has a mysterious past and some serious secrets that made her "cold-hearted" but is she really? One stormy night Veronica decides to go to the local diner near the high school and she meets Hannah Baker, the new girl who had joined them over a week ago. She instatly feels some type of connection and decides to introduce herself. After that night, they would always look for one another, in the hallways, classes, everywhere. They started to hang out together more and more frequently, one day they were invited to a party and they decided to go together. Everything was perfect until Veronica saw Hannah with Clay her "fourth-grade crush" as she described him which seemed to still be the case. After that she distanced herself and all hell broke loose, one day she learned that Hannah committed suicide because of her. But is that really the truth? Why would a dead girl lie?
