Blue Oyster Cult: Teen Archer (1973, Bloom/Roeser/Meltzer).

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THERE ARE FLASHING IMAGES IN THIS CLIP. This is a fan-made, non-profit tribute video to the legendary US rock band, Blue Oyster Cult. I had such a great time making a Godzilla video recently (also posted on this site), that I really wanted to do another film for one of their songs that is less talked about than the usual big hits, but (to me anyway) is no less brilliant. This actually reconnected me with their music in quite a profound way and reminded me, once again, that the BOC are one of THE most underrated American bands ever, full-stop. Taken from the Columbia album, 'Tyranny and Mutation', (which was released in 1973 as the follow-up to their eponymous debut album in 1972), 'Teen Archer' features the original line up of: Albert Bouchard, Joe Bouchard, Eric Bloom, Allen Lanier and Donald 'Buck Dharma' Roeser. The song was produced by Sandy Pearlman and Murray Krugman.
