Passionfruit Fruiting First Year!
It's been a roller coaster since we planted five Red Panama Passionfruit, with our last location just being an off the cuff attempt to get the last plant into the ground with little expectation of sucess. Of course the passionfruit vine we didn't think would do well is the overwhelming success and now, it is covered in fruit and very well established, even threatening other nearby plants. It's grown that vigorously. Here's a look at the progress so far, with fruit starting to head towards ripeness but not quite there, plus how I'm going to control and shape the vine to suit our garden and hopefully get the best out of it in the years to come!
