Interview: DEAD POET SOCIETY talks about new music, almost getting arrested, PINKPOP and more!

Before their sold-out headline show at Doornroosje in Nijmegen on June 30th, we spoke with frontman Jack Underkofler, guitarist Jack Collins, bass player Dylan Brenner and drummer Will Goodroad from Dead Poet Society. The band talks about closing the chapter on their album "-!-", while already playing a new song that has been added to the setlist this tour. They reflect on the first-ever song they wrote as a band, with Underkofler explaining why it remains a favorite to perform live. Dead Poet Society also shares their festival experiences, including performing early at Pinkpop and worrying that no one would show up. They discuss the differences between headline shows and festival sets, and the variation in stress levels. They also recall memorable tour stories, including a moment when they almost got arrested... The band finishes by tackling a classic dilemma, and Brenner delivers a special message for the fans. Subscribe to NINE:32's YouTube channel: ‪@nine32mag‬ Have something to ask a band or artist?
