A true hotel ghost story from my business trip in Hangzhou. My room was hidden behind a fire exit door, inside the stairwell. At first, everything seemed fine—until the knocking started, the window opened, and I heard children running outside my door. The next morning, the front desk told me there were no children or families staying at the hotel that night.
