In response to our concerns about the dysfunctional outcomes of AI which we teachers are seeing in the classroom, people often respond with threats about AI replacing human beings and about being left behind if we ask questions. These fallacies and slogans are being used to block conversations about work, knowledge and economy, and most of all, how we are preparing the next generation of African youth for them. #AIisheretostay #AI
