Exploring Modeling Paste on a Gelli Print
Demonstration exploring a variety of modeling paste applications on top of a Gelli print. I began by gluing collage material to my Gelli print and drawing some random lines. Next, I mixed acrylic paint with modeling paste. I used a palette knife and silicone spatula to apply and scrape away modeling paste to conceal and reveal some of the collage material. I played with Sgraffito marks, embedding objects, and dry brushing over dried modeling paste. A fabulous material for creating my dimensional and textural effects.
