The Station Documentary (part 3)
Ten years ago, on February 20, 2003, fire broke out at a nightclub in Warwick, Rhode Island, USA. The tragic and now infamous blaze, which came to be known as The Station Nightclub Fire, resulted in the loss of 100 lives, 200 people injured, and 65 children losing one or both of their parents. This clip is part three of six films in this documentary series. Tyco was approached by the filmmakers' of The Station Documentary to tell an important story that aligns with our company goals and values, we are providing the filmmakers with a modest donation to aid their efforts to produce the film. In addition, Tyco employees assisted the filmmakers by providing information about how fire detection and suppression systems operate, and about the work so many of us are doing to advance fire codes and standards around the world.
