FOA Lecture 26: Loss Budgets

This is the 26 lecture in the FOA series of lectures on fiber optics. This lecture covers loss budgets. Loss budgets are important because they help determine whether a fiber optic link will work over the cable plant designed for it. Loss budgets also provide a reference for making pass/fail decisions when testing an installed cable plant. All fiber optic techs need to know about loss budgets.
