Thayer's Quest (RDI Halcyon Laserdisc)

This is an actual Thayer’s quest disk that was used in the RDI Halcyon (I found it on LDDB). I don’t actually recommend watching this all the way through, because there are two mono channels with different dialogue that are just played as two stereo channels here. Other info: this also came with a page-sized insert with an info blurb and control map (but it’s in German for some reason?), and at the beginning, where it says “state your name”, the laserdisc would actually stop and require you to hit play to continue, when the flashing lights start I don’t have to do this anymore, and It doesn’t actually stop for any of the choice screens that come up Please let me know your opinions on this video! If you have fond memories of watching it as a child, or really like a specific vibe it gives, or have some info about how it was created or released please leave a comment! I’m not asking to increase engagement, I’m doing a research project and your thoughts on this kind of stuff are very valuable
