Additional Explanation For Hyundai and Kia models, pressing the DISP button on the stock navigation system simply turns off the screen. If the navigation screen is distracting while driving, you can do so. I'm not suggesting you should use this button often or that doing this will prevent your navigation system from malfunctioning. I simply did this out of a desire for buttons and a dislike of the navigation system turning on even when I briefly turn on the key.
