Danilo Restivo torna in Italia

Danilo Restivo, sentenced to 30 years in prison for the murder of Potenza student Elisa Claps, was transferred to Rome from London today on a scheduled flight that arrived at Fiumicino Airport around 4:25 PM. He will remain in Italy for the duration of his appeal trial, which begins in Salerno on March 20, and will then be returned to London. The order was carried out more quickly than initially expected. For security reasons, however, as previously announced, his whereabouts remain strictly confidential, although it is likely he will be held in Salerno prison or another nearby facility.
