Azat Miftakhov is a mathematician and anarchist who has been persecuted for seven years. After his first prison term for breaking a United Russia window, he was arrested again as he was leaving the penal colony and sentenced to another four years. Miftakhov is now in the Polar Owl penal colony in Kharp. Recently, reports of torture came to light. Azat named the staff and inmates he claims participated in the abuse.
