Unprepared is an understatement. Alaric is faced with reality rather harshly when Claire, who is in hiding as Ella, goes overboard. It's bad enough to lose someone from the crew so early... worse still that he knew her personally. He thinks of what this will do to her kingdom, and begins to realize the weight of the choice he's made. After talking with some of the remaining crew, a fellow crew mate puts the idea into his head to try and lighten spirits with a little music. It seems to do the trick, however briefly.
