Keeper Snapper....But I Had To Let Them Go!

Red snapper season is almost here, so I headed offshore from Panama City Beach to do a little pre-fishing before the May 22nd opener! The fish were definitely showing up. I caught a couple of solid keeper red snapper that had to go back since the season isn’t open yet, along with a keeper triggerfish and some good eating beeliners. The reefs were alive, the action stayed steady, and it’s looking like snapper season could be a good one this year.
