Catia V5 | Catia V6: Class A - Creating a Deck Lid Step 2
Here I am using Catia's another method with the tools in Freestyle and Digitized Shape Editor to get a a quick slab across the center line of the vehicle. I create a curve at the center line that matches the scan data then I extrude a surface out in both directions. Then using the control points I manipulate the surface to achieve my initial top slab.
