Super Simple Valentine's Woodcarving

#whittling #woodcarving #valentine https://linktr.ee/douglinker well here's a project i came up with that anyone can do.I wanted something simple to do yet one that is better than a throwaway Valentines card so here you go' -i started with a scrap piece of Basswood measuring 1 3/4 x 1 3/4 x 3/8" -that said the same can be applied to any size as shown in the thumbnail -i used my 13/8 OCCTools carving knife and a drake 1/4" v-tool -should be self explanatory from there but aside from the acrylic folkart paints i used an antiquing medium also from Folkart if you dont have or can't find you can experiment with any contrasting paint if you are quick to wipe of to get that bark look -i found mine at Hobby Lobby -gitty up there's not much time left :)
