The Genius of 'Coach Oleander's Basic Braining' (Psychonauts)

Basic Braining is one of my favorite Tutorial levels in a 3D platformer for a number of reasons. This level really is Double Fine flexing their muscles when it comes to fun an interesting level design, they are able to foreshadow a lot of aspects of the game without hitting the player over the head with this foreshadowing, and it allows Raz to interact with the other campers in a safe and contained space.
