Here's a summary of what I felt during my stay. ✅ What was amazing! 【Service】 The service was relaxed and didn't feel forced; they adjusted to our atmosphere, which made me feel at ease. Their kindness warmed my heart. 【Hot Springs】 Opening the window in front reveals a semi-open-air bath. I loved the feeling of freedom. 【Meals】 All rooms are private. You can enjoy local ingredients with your dog. Furthermore, will my dog ​​bark unnecessarily? I didn't have to worry about my dog ​​getting distracted by other dogs. This ultimate sense of psychological liberation was wonderful. [Environment] The "barrier-free single-story house" offers value beyond the convenience of "easy movement in a single-story house." Many luxury accommodations are maisonette-type or large buildings, requiring the use of stairs or elevators. The soundproofing and sense of privacy are outstanding. Forget the hustle and bustle and enjoy time to yourself with the sound of birds. There is also a parking lot in front of the entrance, so you don't have to rush to move your luggage when checking in or out. ✅ Points of concern The accommodation fee is on the higher side, but considering the quality of the facilities, services, and meals, it was well worth the price. Free drinks, the environment, and the fact that you can move your dog on a leash throughout the entire facility make this a wonderful environment that I can confidently say is not expensive! (This is purely my personal opinion.) If I had to pick one thing, it would be the dog run. Large and small dogs are together on the large grounds. (No partitions) While I believe all the dogs are well-behaved, I felt that many people might be a little worried. If there are pet owners who are refraining from traveling because their dog is large, especially an elderly one, or because travel is difficult, this is a place I can confidently recommend to such people. We enjoy traveling with our pets, and have probably stayed at around 100 accommodations, from Inawashiro in Fukushima in the north to Yamaguchi Prefecture in the south. Even compared to those pet-friendly accommodations, Kobin Takayama stood out. Well, everyone has their own values! This was another accommodation that completely exceeded our expectations. For senior citizens and senior dogs, I don't think there are many accommodations that are as safe and comfortable as this.
