How I make collage papers, trying a new palette, and a new painting. Studio Diary June 9, 2026

Not every moment in an art studio is filled with painting brilliant masterpieces, but every day I make time for my studio practice I make progress. I get organized. I play. I learn new things. I follow my curiosity. I take risks. I gain new experience and insight. I enjoy the journey (mostly!) And somehow during all of that, occasionally magic happens. Sparks of ideas fly and catch fire - deep creativity ignites and beautiful new things are created. It's just like magic - only better - because it's real and its happening in my hands and before my eyes. So come watch some of the process and see if you catch any glimpses of magic happening.
