Heat wave moves in to Metro Detroit, extreme heat mid week
Increasingly hot and humid conditions develop on Monday for Metro Detroit, with peak afternoon heat indices reaching the mid to upper 90s. An extreme heat watch has been issued for Tuesday through Thursday with highs reaching the mid-upper 90s to 100 degrees and heat indices in excess of 105 degrees each day.
