Quick Flip and Sew Mug Rug Tutorial
Let's make a quick and easy Mug Rug. I used the flip and sew method and turned the backing up for the binding. At the end of the video, I show 5 additional Mug Rugs that I made or traded for. Here are the dimensions that I used: Backing - 9" x 13", Batting - 7" x 11", Focus Fabric - 7" x 5 1/4", Strip 1 - 7" x 2 1/2", Strip 2 - 7" x 2 1/2", Strip 3 - 7" x 2 1/4". Finished size: 7" x 11". Place batting on wrong side of backing and leave 1" on all sides. Just right for a beverage and a snack.
