Close Up High Speed Trains! - Lineside Spotting on the ECML

This video is property of Train_PlaneHub 2160p 4K HD! Spotting from a few different lineside locations on the East Coast Mainline. For those who aren't aware the East Coast Mainline is the route from London King's Cross to North East England & Scotland, destinations include Leeds, York, Hull, Newcastle, Edinburgh and beyond. Having previously filmed at Abbots Ripton I decided to take a trip back there. But unfortunately the crossing has since been closed and fenced off. So we drove elsewhere in search of a good vantage point for filming. We tried Holme Crossing, which seemed a little busy and restricted in terms of views. Then found Conington Level Crossing. The crossing is quiet and allowed a good view of trains approaching from either direction. A quick disclaimer that all footage was filmed from behind the fence (of course!) At no point was I trespassing or anything ridiculous like that. Just so happens that at the crossing you get some absolutely incredible close ups of the trains passing, most of which are at high speed! TRAINS INCLUDED: New LNER Azuma, class 91's (225 sets) & the classic HST's. Also 2x class 90's operating LNER services. A Hull Trains class 180 & a Great Western HST operating for Hull Trains seen passing Holme Crossing. Grand Central 180's. All of those are seen travelling at high speed. Then of course on the ECML expect to see some Thameslink class 700's and also includes a Freight move lead by DB Schenker 66149 + 66098. Some great close ups and a fantastic viewing spot on the ECML!
