Fixing Toyota B1442 servo motor damper control | RAV4

In this video, I walk you through how I diagnosed and repaired a B1442 AC code on a Toyota RAV4 without replacing any parts! Using the XTOOL D8BT, I scanned the vehicle and confirmed the B1442 diagnostic trouble code (Air Inlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit). I then disassembled the blower motor assembly to access the servo motor. Upon closer inspection, the servo motor itself was working fine, but the gear mechanism had popped out of its socket—likely causing the malfunction. I carefully re-seated the gear back into place, reassembled everything, and cleared the code.
