J-Class Yacht Build – Episode 8 | Making the stand and flipping over

With the hull complete, it's time for one of the most satisfying moments of the build—making a simple wooden cradle and finally turning the boat upright for the first time. Seeing the hull the right way up really brings the project to life and gives you a chance to admire all the hard work that's gone into the planking and shaping. In this video I also take a look at my finished Cornish Flash boat and the latest progress on the 1:10 scale Polperro Gaffer. It's great to see these projects developing alongside each other, and they all will contribute to the growing collection of classic working boats on the channel. Thanks for following along with the build. I hope you've enjoyed the series so far, and I'll see you in the next stage of the project.
