#8 John Deere 1025R Hilling Potatoes & Corn with Disc Hillers / Listers
After a near fail attempt at cultivating the sweet corn with the 1025R and S-Tine type shovels, we mounted the Disc Hillers to the toolbar. The disc hillers worked VERY well. They applied a consistent ridge to the potatoes and corn with essentially ZERO manual effort. In the past, we have always hilled the potatoes with a hoe.
