Trusting Jesus (Weekly Hymn Project)

Today's hymn is "Trusting Jesus". I was thinking once again of the dear friend with cancer that I'd mentioned in last Sunday's live stream and the line "Singing if my way is clear, Praying if the path be drear;" really struck me. Maybe a lot of the times we'd just like things to be clear; but life is a bit of everything and that's what this hymn and so many remind us of. We don't know it all and it's not about figuring it all out, but trusting Him as being enough for all circumstances. "He that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him." Hebrews 11:6 Lyrics: Simply trusting every day, Trusting through a stormy way; Even when my faith is small, Trusting Jesus, that is all. [Refrain] Trusting as the moments fly, Trusting as the days go by; Trusting Him whate’er befall, Trusting Jesus, that is all.
