We could never have imagined ending up in a place like this. It was 1986 when a 36-year-old man decided to buy an old ruin in the woods and live there without electricity or gas. There, he sought to develop his vision of community life by founding "La Tribù delle Noci Sonanti" (The Tribe of the Sounding Walnuts)—and today, we are going to visit it. We arrived at Fabrizio’s place without an appointment; he was immediately welcoming and let us step into a typical day in his life. Between the bees, the vegetable garden, and other chores, he tells us about his life choice, his organic vegetarian diet, and the spiritual path he has been working on for a long time.
