I stayed at Hotel Route-Inn Shinano Omachi Ekimae. Hotel Route-Inn is a business hotel offering artificial hot springs and free parking in many hotels. I had not had much experience with this hotel before, but I stayed there the night before because it was in a good location for passing through the Tachikawa-Kurobe Alpine Route. The hotel was spotless, as it had just opened in 2020. The large bathroom has natural hot spring water, although it is watered, and breakfast is complimentary for all guests. The price was very reasonable, and I was satisfied with my stay. The Tachikawa Kurobe Alpine Route was closed in mid-June because of the Kurobe Dam's water release, but we could enjoy the snowy valley just before the dam closed. However, the snow was still very light, so I would like to visit a little earlier in the season next year.
