Everyone remembers the roar of Lord Narasimha and the fall of Hiranyakashipu, but few reflect on what the pillar truly represents. From the perspective of Prahlad, the pillar is only a sheath -- a covering for the divine reality within. From the perspective of Hiranyakashipu, the pillar is nothing more than dead stone, something to dominate and destroy. This difference reveals everything. Swami Revatikaanta explains how the ego demands proof, how māyā seduces us through appearances, and why true wisdom does not come from repeated failure but from humility and sincere surrender. Drawing on Guruji’s teachings and lived spiritual experience, this satsang shows how the “pillar” we must break is our own identification with ego, fear, and surface-level perception. The real question is not whether Narasimha can break the pillar -- it is whether we will allow Him to break it from within.
