New 360 video from inside the reactor vessel of ATR after shutdown
INL is always proud to show off photos of one if its flagship facilities – ATR’s distinctive cloverleaf core is not just unique, it’s the key to the capabilities that make it a vital asset for our nation’s energy security and strategic defense. In this 360 video, people can now get a first-ever 3D look inside the reactor. The floodlights are off so viewers can see the distnctive blue glow of the Cherenkov effect coming from the ATR core.
