“MORE SUNSHINE WITH UNCHANGED TEMPERATURES” After a gray Tuesday, we'll enjoy more sunshine this Wednesday, especially from midday onwards when the low cloud cover from the morning will begin to dissipate. Before then, during the early morning hours, there could be some light rain in the mid-altitude areas. There are also periods of showers in inland areas of El Hierro, and in the south of La Palma and Tenerife. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with highs of 23-29ºC along the coasts. Winds will be light to moderate from the north-northeast, with breezes prevailing along the southwest coasts of the higher islands. Winds will be light to moderate from the west on peaks above 1800m, stronger from the southwest, with strong gusts possible on Mount Teide. At sea, conditions will be calm, perfect for enjoying the beach; the largest waves will not reach one meter in height. EL HIERRO: Predominantly cloudy with sunny spells along the coast, where the most pleasant temperatures will be recorded. Light north-northeast winds. LA PALMA: Partly cloudy with sunny spells, becoming more densely cloudy in the midlands. Temperatures with little change, and light north-northeast winds. LA GOMERA: Less cloudy, with the densest clouds at dawn in the north. Sunny elsewhere and pleasant temperatures, highs of 23-28ºC along the coast. TENERIFE: Abundant low cloud cover in the north and northeast at dawn, giving way to partly cloudy skies, and developing cloud cover in the midlands of the south and west. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, and the wind will be strong from the southwest on Mount Teide. GRAN CANARIA: The morning cloud cover in the north will give way to partly cloudy skies, as will some cloud cover in the southwest. Pleasant temperatures, with highs of 25ºC in many coastal areas. Light to moderate northerly winds. FUERTEVENTURA: Partly cloudy skies tending to clear throughout the morning. Temperatures will remain unchanged, and the wind will be light to moderate from the north-northeast. LANZAROTE: The morning clouds will give way to a sunny and pleasant Wednesday. Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, and the wind will be light from the north-northeast. LA GRACIOSA: Predominantly partly cloudy skies.
