Spice Rack with Hand-Cut Double Dovetails | Hand Tool Woodworking
Built entirely with hand tools from rough lumber. In this project I mill the stock by hand, cut the double dovetails, make and fit contrasting dowels, shape the curves with a spokeshave and chisel, assemble the rack, and finish it with oil. The project looks deceptively simple, but the double dovetails required considerably more layout and fitting work than a conventional dovetail joint.
