A Hopeless Case? HD 720p

Bill, the Featherweight Guy, restores a badly damaged 1937 carry case for a Singer 221 Featherweight. He shows how to take a case that many would give us as hopelessly damaged and restore it. He repairs damage to the wooden structure, repairs extensive loose exterior fabric, replaces a damaged case lock with a vintage lock salvaged from another case using split rivets and a homemade rivet setting tool, and replaces the handle. The restored case is then compared to the alternative, a modern replica Featherweight case.
