Raktup (or Raktup Soman) is a vibrant traditional dance of the Mising (Mishing) people, indigenous to Assam, India. Recently showcased at the Mising Youth Festival 2026, this dance form is often characterized by its energetic, rhythmic movements that reflect the community's rich cultural heritage. Raktup Song and Dance, which is a type of folk and traditional song and dance of the Mising tribe of Assam. In short, it is another form of merrymaking.
