Lacrosse Defense 101 Matchup: Joe Fletcher vs. Kieran McArdle

A matchup between All-Pro attackman Kieran McArdle and reigning Defender of the Year Joe Fletcher. Despite having 3 CT's this game, Fletcher gets scored on by various dodges from McArdle. Fletcher has one of the best sticks in the game, but can many times get too stick happy with his V-hold. This then allows a physical player such as McArdle to take advantage of it. By going for the stick most of the time, McArdle was able to get topside and basically anywhere he wanted to against Fletcher. When McArdle begins to fight for topside in the middle of the field, Fletcher must sit down and drive McArdle out rather than trying to tie him up with the V-hold.
