$0 Day, No Money in My Rural Hometown| 35yo Jobless in Vietnam
At 35 years old, returning to my rural hometown without a job wasn't exactly my plan. But sometimes, hitting pause is exactly what you need. 🌿 In today's vlog, I am sharing a completely $0 day in my life. Being unemployed in Vietnam can be incredibly stressful, but under my parents' roof in the mountainous town of Khe Sanh, everything feels different. I don't have to worry about the cost of living today. From harvesting wild bitter melon in our garden, watching my parents cook on a traditional wood stove, to enjoying a priceless home-cooked meal that cost me absolutely nothing ($0!). I also share a very personal story about my special older sister, Van, and how my parents have unconditionally cared for her for 37 years. The world might judge you by your job title, but at home, you are always loved unconditionally. If you enjoy slow living, rural Vietnamese culture, and honest stories about starting over, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to support my journey.
