I Tested This £109 Helmet for 100 Miles in Every Condition — Here's the Verdict

I had this helmet sitting in my basket for ages. £109. MIPS. Van Rysel RCR. And I kept second guessing myself... Until my old POC Ventral took a tumble and the decision was made for me. 😅 🌦️ So I did what I always do! I took it out and properly tested it and not just a quick spin. We're talking 100 miles in basically every weather condition imaginable: extreme wind 💨 torrential rain 🌧️ and actual sunshine ☀️ by the end. If that's not a gold standard test I don't know what is! In this video: 👀 First impressions vs 100 mile reality — did it hold up? 💨 Ventilation comparison vs the POC Ventral (spoiler: I was shocked) 😎 Sunglasses retention — better than expected 🔒 The magnetic clasp — my biggest worry going in (and what actually happened in a brutal headwind) 😤 My one petty grievance (it's minor but I had to say it 😂) 💬 Plus — what do YOU actually want to see in a helmet review? I genuinely ask in the video because it's such a weird product to review! 💰 At £109 this is one of the more affordable MIPS helmets out there and after 100 miles in conditions that tried their absolute best to ruin my day, I can tell you exactly whether it's worth your money. 🚨 Completely unsponsored. Decathlon have no idea who I am (yet 👀😂). Just an honest rider giving you an honest take. 👇 Drop a comment — what do YOU look for in a helmet review?
