MPC 1000: Stock Pads vs DIY Pads vs FAT Pads
In my never-ending quest to find the best pad set fro my MPC 1000, I recently picked up some red FAT pads. About 10 years ago I tried thickening a set of MPC 1000 pads by filling them with silicone rubber. They didn't come out perfect and played a bit inconsistency so I switched back to a set of stock pads. In this vid I A/B test the stock pads and the FAT pads, show what the v1 / pre-upgraded sensor & pads look like, and show how to open your MPC 1000 and replace the rubber pad sets. The FAT pads feel great and are exactly what I was attempting to DYI years ago.
