Bad Moon Rising by Creedence Clearwater Revival was a massive worldwide hit when it was first released in 1969. This Country-Rock classic has now been released with a distinctly Trad/Folk flavor by West of Ireland based group Shaskeen (some of whom have been playing music since the song was first released). Shaskeen, with the unique vocals of Katie Theasby, give Bad Moon Rising their own unique interpretation. Katie’s vocals combined with acoustic instruments such as concertina, flutes, whistles, fiddles, accordion, guitar, piano, bodhrán, mandolin and banjo is sure to appeal to Shaskeen’s many fans and is guaranteed to introduce the band to an even wider audience.
