*** INFO IN ENGLISH BELOW: Hello: In this video, I show you how I clarified my hair using hydrogen peroxide and baking soda. I hope it works for you too! Remember, not everyone's hair is the same... there are things that work for me and others that don't work for you, or on the contrary, things that may work much better for you than they did for me. It all depends on your hair type. There's a part of the video that I don't know why I missed when I edited it, and it's when I applied the mixture to my roots. All I did was take out my buns one by one (I cut them to make it easier) and apply the mixture. I made the same amount of mixture for this. I put the bag back on and left it on my roots for about 15-20 minutes. My hair was dry when I washed it, then I applied the mask, and honestly, the mask didn't do much, but with the rice mask, it improved a lot the next day. I really recommend this mask. It's so easy to make and leaves your hair so soft (I know it doesn't look so soft in the video, but believe me, it looks softer in person). I tried this method to lighten my hair with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda since I've been trying 20 volume peroxide and baking soda (I love it!), but I wanted to know if this works too. All I did was mix 1 cup of baking soda with 3/4 cups of hydrogen peroxide. I had my hair separated in this video, but this isn't necessary. It's just easier that way. I strongly recommend you to try in a small area before you do the whole process. Start from the ends and work your way up to the top avoiding the roots, leave them for the end otherwise you may end with “hot” roots. Roots tend to lighten faster because they mostly have virgin hair and the heat from the scalp speeds the process. I left the mixture in my hair for an hour but applied it on the roots at the 45 min mark and left it there for the remainder of the time (15 min). When you're done, wash it very well with shampoo (a clarifying shampoo works best, I like “Suave” for this). Apply a hair mask and leave it on for 30 min. It may not look very light in the video but if you look closer it got lighter. If you want it lighter you can do it, just wait a few days and condition it very well during the days you're waiting. Remember we all have different hair types and some may have health conditions that can make hair fall out faster. It worked for me, but it may not work for you.
