The Returning Generation Camp 2023 - 'Ranger, Ranger!' Camp Song
In 2023, Year 6 students from Aurukun State School made the journey down the mighty Archer River and across Southern Wik country to the APN Cape York (Aak Puul Ngantam) Ranger base at Blue Lagoon. Here they spent 4 days immersed in traditional Wik cultural practises like Spearmaking, weaving and more. Together with Hip Hop artist Dizzy Doolan they created this hip hop track describing their experience on country.
