Wild Camping With Wingman of The Road | Dartmoor National Park | Motorcycle Tour
We headed off to Dartmoor National park for out last day in Devon. We went to find a suitable camping spot and then headed off to somewhere that’s been recommended to me a number of times; Union Road Moto Velo. This is a motorcycle hangout, motorbiker friendly hotel, workshop, coffee shop, clothes and gear retailer and there are also motorbikes for sale- all wrapped up in a brilliantly cool, edgy package. A custom Honda Cub, Harley Davidson Sportsters, Indian FTR and a heavily customised Triumph Bonneville, as well as gear for sale from the likes of Saint Jeans, Roeg helmets and Resurgence gear (to name a few). They have a good choice of sandwiches and cakes too, so it’s a brilliant stop off. It is hugely worth a visit! After that, we rode back into Dartmoor Park and set up the Goose Wingman of The Road tent for some wild camping on the final night. I had the tent strapped to my Hepco and Becker rear rack with Ron straps, and it worked like a dream! __________________ Wingman of The Road Goose. Wingman recommended that I use Rok straps to attach it, and they work perfectly to secure it. __________________ Partner: https://sizzapp.com (Motorcycle tracker and rider's mate) __________________ Gear for the Day: Frank Thomas Patrol Jacket (10 years old but they still sell a very similar version) Broger Moto California Jeans Furygan Melbourne Boots Throttlesnake Pit Viper Gloves Exklusiv Rage Shiny Black Helmet Timeline: 0:00 - 2:30: Intro 2:31 - 12:00: Union Road Moto Velo 12:01 - 18:45: Ride around Dartmoor National Park 18:46 - 28:10: Wingman of The Road 28:11 - 36:54: Morning with horses __________________ Accomodation: Gallery Guest House, Plymouth, 66 N Rd E, Plymouth PL4 6AL.
