During my recent New Year's holiday, I visited Toyama, a city that's not yet overcrowded with tourists. Toyama is surrounded by the Japanese Alps; no matter where you look, you'll see this mountain range encircling the city. I have to say, the view is incredibly stunning – truly breathtaking. I spent two days in the city and couldn't stop saying "beautiful." If you're looking for a city with beautiful views and not too many tourists, Toyama is a great destination.
